We recommend flying in on Southwest or Jetblue, there are plenty of direct flights to Austin (and friendly fight attendants!) on both airlines.

driving IH-35, Hwy-290, Hwy-71

Wanting to recreate your own version of the post-apocalyptic literary masterpiece, The Road? Take IH-35 from Dallas or San Antonio and have the flat, straight, billboarded road help you “forget what you want to remember, and you remember what you want to forget.” Coming from Houston? Hwy 71 or 290 is a much more pleasant jaunt.

Our favorite places to eat in Austin include La Condesa, Lamberts (for brunch), Justine's, Zocalo, Enoteca-Vespaio, and Perlas. Find delicious cocktails at Second Bar + Kitchen and a fantastic Italian wine selection at the Backspace.

For the MOST FUN EVER, be sure to catch a movie, dinner and drinks at one of the Alamo Drafthouse theaters.

All events around the wedding will be in downtown Austin, so we recommend you stay somewhere in central Austin. As our special rate at the Stephen F. (see below) has nearly sold out, we highly recommend looking into another downtown hotel. Doubletree Hotel on 15th Street is very convenient to the Allan House and has great rates for rooms and suites -- many friends & family are choosing to stay here. In addition, you may want to look at the Hilton, Omni, Raddison, Courtyard Marriot, At&t center at UT, or the W Austin.

We’ve also received a special rate at two great Austin hotels, though rooms are going fast. The Stephen F. Austin has some remaining suites available (all of the smaller rooms have sold!) and is less than a mile from our downtown venue. In addition to using the link to book, you can call the hotel directly at 512-457-8800 to reserve a room.

Travelling with family? The Staybridge Suites - Arboretum has rooms and suites available from $99. These are great for anyone staying with kids, and most suites have a kitchenette. Just 15 minutes up Mopac from the shindig, though a little more removed from the action than the downtown hotels.
